Financial Specialist (m/f/d) – Intercompany Transactions

Position Overview

As a Financial Specialist (m/f/d) – Intercompany Transactions, you play a critical role in managing and monitoring financial transactions between affiliated companies within the group. You are responsible for ensuring accurate intercompany accounting, reconciliation, and compliance with relevant accounting standards including IFRS, HGB, and local GAAP. You work closely with internal finance teams and related entities to maintain data integrity and support timely financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Intercompany Accounting & Reconciliation

• Assist in drafting and signing internal agreements between affiliated companies.
• Independently manage intercompany accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) reconciliation and processing.
• Oversee intercompany accounting and reconciliation in accordance with IFRS, HGB, and applicable local standards.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies to ensure accuracy and data integrity across group entities.

Financial Reporting & Closing Activities

• Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including the preparation of accruals and financial reports.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of intercompany balances and transactions.

Compliance, Audit & Process Improvement

• Assist in internal and external audits and ensure compliance with relevant accounting regulations and company policies.
• Collaborate with the finance team to improve processes and enhance efficiency in intercompany operations.
• Support ad-hoc tasks and cross-functional projects as required.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Accounting, or related fields.
• Fluent in German, with strong proficiency in both Chinese and English (written and spoken).
• Solid understanding of intercompany accounting principles and financial reporting standards (IFRS, HGB, local GAAP).
• Familiarity with SANY Group’s organizational structure and intercompany framework is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-cultural environment.
