Mechanical Structural Engineer (m/f/d)
IHRE AUFGABEN
The Mechanical Structural Engineer is responsible for the design, analysis, and optimization of mechanical structures for crane products. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the structural integrity, performance, and compliance of crane components and systems. The engineer will also participate in new product development, quality improvement, and technical support activities.
Responsibilities:
1. Structural Design and Analysis: Design and analyze mechanical structures for crane components, ensuring strength, durability, and compliance with industry standards.
2. New Product Development: Participate in the development of new crane products, from concept design to prototyping and testing.
3. Quality Improvement: Identify and address structural design flaws or weaknesses in existing products.
4. Technical Documentation: Prepare detailed design specifications, technical drawings, and documentation for mechanical structures.
5. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with other engineering teams (e.g., electrical, hydraulic) to ensure seamless integration of mechanical structures with other systems.
6. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all mechanical designs comply with European and international regulations and standards.
IHRE QUALIFIKATIONEN
1. Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or related majors
2. Has rich experience in the structural design of wheeled cranes
3. Proficient in German and English (written and spoken)
4. Familiar with crane products and testing methods
5. Experience working with cross functional and international teams
6. Understand relevant standards and product development processes
7. Willing to travel occasionally (e.g. for supplier cooperation or testing)
