General Manager for supply chain development for Heavy Trucks
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Participate in the strategic planning of the Group’s global supply chain. Design the end-to-end supply chain architecture aligned with the Group’s global business layout and business objectives. Balance delivery, cost, quality and capital occupation, and develop the medium-and long-term supply chain roadmap.
- Lead the global supply-demand collaboration and master planning system development. Drive the implementation of S&OP sales and operations planning mechanism. Coordinate cross-regional capacity allocation, demand forecasting and inventory strategy optimization to improve order fulfillment stability and asset turnover efficiency.
- Oversee global supply resource layout and strategic supplier management. Establish the global supplier evaluation, classification and performance & development system. Promote multi-sourcing of critical materials, lead major commercial negotiations, and continuously enhance the cost competitiveness of the supply chain.
- Build the global supply chain risk management and emergency response system. Identify cross-border risks including geopolitics, logistics, foreign exchange fluctuation and supplier disruption. Develop contingency plans to ensure supply chain continuity for global businesses.
- Promote the development of supply chain operation systems, process standards and digital capabilities. Establish a unified supply chain KPI framework and drive end-to-end continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, quality, manufacturing, overseas business and finance teams. Break down collaboration barriers between domestic and overseas supply chains, align with European business scenarios, and deliver supply chain solutions tailored for overseas markets.
- Monitor the execution of global supply chain budget. Conduct supply chain performance reviews and data insights. Report supply chain operational status, key issues and improvement recommendations to the Chairman on a regular basis to support top-level business decision-making.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
- Education
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, or other relevant disciplines.
- MBA or other advanced business/management education is preferred.
- Professional Experience
- 12+ years of relevant working experience, with substantial experience in global supply chain management, commercial vehicle/automotive industry, international business or regional P&L management.
- Proven experience in managing global or multi-country supply chain operations, including demand planning, S&OP, supplier management, sourcing, inventory optimization and supply chain risk management.
- Strong track record in European market development, sales management, dealer/channel development or regional business operations, preferably within the commercial vehicle, heavy truck, construction machinery, automotive or related industries.
- Experience working across China and Europe and managing cross-border business operations is strongly preferred.
- Previous experience as a business unit leader, regional director, supply chain director, sales director or equivalent senior management position is preferred.
- Supply Chain & Business Management
- Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain management, including S&OP, demand forecasting, capacity planning, sourcing, supplier development, inventory management, logistics and supply chain risk management.
- Demonstrated ability to translate corporate strategy into operational plans, KPIs, budgets and measurable business results.
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to balance revenue growth, cost, cash flow, delivery, quality and operational efficiency.
- Experience in strategic supplier management, major commercial negotiations and multi-sourcing strategies is preferred.
- European Market & Sales Capability
- Strong understanding of the European commercial vehicle/heavy truck market, including customer needs, dealer networks, market structure, competitors and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrated experience in market entry, business development, channel development and key account management across multiple European countries.
- Existing relationships with European fleet operators, dealers, distributors, logistics companies or other commercial vehicle customers would be an advantage.
- Experience in developing and executing regional sales strategies and taking accountability for sales targets, revenue, receivables and overall business performance.
- Leadership & Organization Development
- Proven experience in leading cross-functional and multicultural teams, preferably across multiple countries or regions.
- Strong capability in organizational design, talent acquisition, performance management, incentive mechanisms and team capability development.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams through organizational change and build a high-performing local European organization.
- Strategic & Analytical Capability
- Strong strategic thinking and ability to develop medium- and long-term business and supply chain strategies.
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills, with the ability to interpret market, financial, operational and supply chain data.
- Ability to identify business risks and develop practical solutions in areas such as geopolitics, trade restrictions, logistics disruption, foreign exchange, supplier continuity, credit and compliance.
- Strong experience in preparing management reports and presenting strategic recommendations to senior management / board-level stakeholders.
- Communication & Cross-Cultural Capability
- Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong ability to coordinate headquarters, European subsidiaries, R&D, manufacturing, supply chain, finance, sales and after-sales teams.
- Ability to operate effectively in a multicultural and international business environment.
- Fluent English is required; proficiency in Chinese and/or another European language is preferred.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, Economics or a related field; MBA is preferred.
- 12+ years of experience in global supply chain, automotive/commercial vehicles, heavy equipment or international business, with significant experience in senior management roles.
- Strong expertise in end-to-end supply chain management, S&OP, strategic sourcing, supplier management, demand planning, inventory optimization and supply chain risk management.
- Proven track record in European market development, sales management, dealer/channel development and key account management, preferably in the commercial vehicle or heavy truck industry.
- Demonstrated experience managing multi-country operations and multicultural teams across China and Europe.
- Strong commercial and P&L mindset, with proven ability to manage sales targets, budgets, cash collection, costs and overall business performance.
- Excellent strategic planning, analytical, negotiation and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Strong understanding of the European commercial vehicle market, competitive landscape and relevant regulatory environment.
- Existing network among European dealers, fleet operators, logistics companies or commercial vehicle customers is an advantage.
- Fluent in English; Chinese and/or additional European language skills are preferred.
