Job Title: Control Software Engineer (m/f/d)

Responsibilities:
- Be responsible for the selection, evaluation, and certification of electrical and electronic components related to functional safety for all-terrain and crawler cranes, ensuring compliance with relevant functional safety standards such as ISO 13849 and IEC 61508.
- Lead or participate in the development, testing, and validation of functional safety software (e.g., for PLCs or safety controllers) using languages such as C/C++, ensuring that the software architecture and code implementation meet the required ASIL levels (e.g., ISO 13849 PLr / IEC 62061 SIL).
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation related to functional safety, including safety plans, FMEA/FTA analyses, technical safety concepts, and test specifications, to support the functional safety certification process for the entire product.
- Collaborate closely with local European suppliers, certification bodies, and global R&D teams to ensure that product designs meet the regulatory and standard requirements of the European market.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Vehicle Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in functional safety development in cranes, with familiarity of relevant international safety standards.
- Extensive experience in electrical/electronic component selection, with a strong understanding of the technical parameters and safety certification processes for safety-related components such as sensors, actuators, and controllers.
- Proficiency in C/C++ programming, with practical development experience in safety-critical systems (e.g., automotive AUTOSAR, construction machinery controllers).
